This species feed by filtering plankton, tiny fish and crustaceans and squid. So, this makes these gentle giants safe to snorkel with. Our tour takes place in the Caribbean Sea by Isla Mujeres. We pick this area because the visibility is much clearer than the Gulf of Mexico. Come enjoy the day with us in the crystal clean water and snorkel with the large fish species.

Whale shark tour prices

  • The balance of 125.00 must be paid in US dollars or Mexican pesos before boarding the boat in Cancun.

Departing from Cozumel

You will need to be at ferry terminal at 6:30 am for a 7 am departure.

  • Ferry boat transportation (28.00 USD per person) if departing from Cozumel (not included in 150.00 tour price)
 
Departing from Playa del Carmen

Señor Frogs is the meeting place at the end of the ferry pier at 8am. You will be greeted there by one of our tour guides and they will be your escort for the day. So, all you have to do is sit back and enjoy. The a/c ground transportation will be waiting for you at Playa Del Carmen to take you to the pier to board your fast boat for this amazing excursion. It takes about 1 hour to reach the pier in Cancun.

Additional notes

  • Please arrive 30 min before your tour start time.
  • We recommend that you bring comfortable clothes and shoes, towels and bathing suit, sunblock, glasses, hat and cash for souvenirs or gratitude tips
  • it is MANDITORY that you wear a wetsuit or a life jacket when snorkel with the Whale sharks
  • If you don't see Whale Sharks on our Tour we will credit you for another day.
